Building the Bridge Between AI and Web3: Port3's Vision for a Decentralized Future

This week our attention was captured by Port3, a Singapore-based Web3 company intent on pioneering the integration of AI and blockchain technology. With co-founders Anthony Teng and Max Du’s Web3 task platform SoQuest already making waves in the industry, we were excited to have the opportunity to sit down with them and discuss their vision, recent achievements, and ambitious plans for the future.

Adaverse: Can you tell us about Port3's mission and what you're building?

Port3: We're building an AI servicing platform because we (like so many people) believe AI represents the biggest technological trend for the next 5-10 years. Our vision is to connect AI with Web3, bringing together the most innovative projects and minds in both spaces.

Adaverse: What stages has Port3 gone through in its development?

Port3: We've completed our first stage by building SoQuest, which connects thousands of projects and millions of users through digital identity. Users can connect their Web2 and Web3 identities - like Twitter accounts and wallet addresses - allowing us to build a comprehensive Web3 user database.

We're now in our second stage, developing an AI data layer to aggregate and refine this data. Our third stage will see us launch our AI services platform, powered by a new AI-driven, user-centric language we've developed called OpenBQL.

Adaverse: How does OpenBQL work in practice?

Port3: OpenBQL acts as a bridge between user intent and blockchain actions. Users can express what they want to achieve in a chat format (much like ChatGPT), our AI agent then translates this into an executable script that facilitates the user goal across the desired blockchain protocols. Our goal is to establish an open standard for blockchain interactions, in order to achieve this OpenBQL will be open source.

Adaverse: Can you share some metrics about your current user base?

Port3: SoQuest has reached 6 million users with about 50,000 daily active users. Our OpenBQL platform has already facilitated over $1 billion in trading volume during our initial mining phase.

Adaverse: What's next for Port3?

Port3: We're expanding our presence in the UAE and developing relationships with local government entities, including registering with RAKDAO, the UAE's digital asset oasis. We're also building an advertising system leveraging our large user base, enhancing our token utility, and planning listings on major exchanges.

Most importantly, we're focused on building a real community. We're hosting regular AMAs and offline meetups, starting with our Dubai event on October 29th. We want to bring together people who truly care about Port3's vision and can help make things happen.

Looking Ahead

Port3's integration of AI and Web3 represents a significant step forward in making blockchain technology more accessible and user-friendly. With their strong presence in both Asia and the Middle East, and their commitment to building open, decentralized infrastructure, Port3 is well-positioned to play a crucial role in the next phase of Web3 development.

Their approach of combining AI-powered user interfaces with blockchain functionality could help bridge the gap between traditional users and Web3 applications, potentially accelerating mainstream adoption. As they continue to expand their platform and community, Port3 is definitely a project we’ll continue to watch in the evolving Web3 and AI landscape.
